At ten years old she had her first open-heart surgery. Three years ago an aneurysm ruptured, and during her second emergency open-heart surgery she suffered a severe stroke. She had to relearn how to walk, talk and simply how to live again. Wicklow. Eímear is 30 years old and in her dream job, a role that fills her heart every single day. She has a rare connective tissue disorder and has spent her life fighting for her health. At ten years old she had her first open-heart surgery. Three years ago an aneurysm ruptured, and during her second emergency open-heart surgery she suffered a severe stroke. She had to relearn how to walk, talk and simply how to live again. Through sheer determination she made the impossible possible and got back to her classroom, her children, and her life.\u003cbr\u003eRecently, doctors discovered three more aneurysms. Eímear now needs a third open-heart surgery, the most complex yet, in a specialist hospital in the United States.
